Can religious people help lead the fight to save the environment?
Some believe that religion may prove a positive factor in what may be humankind's biggest challenge because it teaches moderation rather then over indulgance.
It depends on the person. And some religions certainly don't teach moderation. Satanism, for example, which largely teaches to take pleasure in the material world.
I honestly find it a little sad that they talk about religious people as though they need their leaders to bribe them with faith to help the environment. I don't think people need to be read quotes from the Bible in order to do the right thing. I think the whole article patronises the religious, to be honest.
